Behandel in individuele gevallen lyme-meningitis 28 dagen op basis van neurologische uitval en/of afwijkingen bij herhaald liquoronderzoek.

Bij penicilline allergie:
Zie: Allergie voor (beta-lactam) antibiotica.
In veel gevallen is ceftriaxon veilig te geven.
